Today I played for about half an hour. Even though we are done performing the Holst piece I practiced part B in the first movement (second clarinet) because I have yet to do that for my test. I have manged to get all the fingerings down in the right rhythms. I can almost always do it at proper tempo as well. I consider this a great success for me on the clarinet because this part of the piece has been very challenging. Also, for my warm up I did the concert B flat scale and arpeggio using different rhythms and tempos for each degree of the scale.
